a bunch of toyota and honda cars from the 90s used resistor packs. just use an OE one from a junk yard for like $5... this is what i did with my RB26 swap

its way cheaper than a resistor box, ghetto? yes, but can also be cleaned with heat shrink after install. doing this way will also eliminate the possibility of a bad resistor box to be able to drop resistence on all the injectors. single resistors to each injector makes it easier to go one by one when diagnosing. the junkyards down here in houston knows the value of the resistor boxes and always charges an arm and a leg here

really?
they are all over ebay for 20 bucks, and that's retail price.

also, you can test these things in about 10 seconds with a multimeter, though they rarely go bad. if you can handle electrical stuff well enough to add injector power resistance, i'd think you could test resistance between pins on a plug.

go to a junkyard and you can even get the male side of the plug to go with it!

not too complicated -- one power IN, 6 power OUTs:

both ways work fine but i just rather have small resistors then a big ole box hanging around. its funny you mention they rarely go bad though bc thats what i said until one went bad on a customers car lol. mustve jyxned it
