High Idle after new spark plugs?

High Idle after new spark plugs?
switched the plugs yesterday(could lexus make it anymore of a pain?)
but yea when i finished i usually had the car idle 800rpm warm and now hot or cold it doesnt like going under 2100rpm!? anyone got any tips??
o yea i dont know if it matters or not but i went with iridium plugs instead of the platinum that were in there before

My guess is that you've altered something on the throttle body; most likely the throttle linkage got bound up or misadjusted. It's possible the tps of iac are involved, but I'd look for the simplest stuff first. Iridiums vs. platinums should be irrelevant.

im about to change mine to with some E3's but in ur case id check the throttle linkage. i remember when i was changing my valve cover gaskets on my sc300 (which also was a pain in the a**) i forgot a couple hidden vacuum lines but my idle was fine. my check engine light just went on. so again i say to check ur throttle linkage.

Unplug neg side of battery for 30 minutes.. Problem fixed
