Default W58 noise.. PPL chime in..

So, recently a weird noise has emerged from my car once I left off the gas. It sounds like a clicking sound coming from what I think is the trans/clutch/flywheel area... Driving there is no sound, however once the gas is let off, the sound comes.. and if I give it gas it goes away. When I come to a complete stop, no noise.. Clearly, a rotational noise.. So far 1st through 3rd gear has it.. I haven't been able to test 4th gear on the highway to see.. I am hoping that is something minor but then again, it is a W58..

any advice is welcome..

so.. to help out others in need when the time comes... It turns out, a bad bearing within the trans is the cause for the noise.. it is rotational and on the shaft which also, causes the vibration and a slight leak at the yoke at the trans... New replacement soon..
