I bought the cx racing universal kit also 3". I had to cut a hole where the intake box used to be. Its more than enough piping, just got to get them welded now. I thought you werent going to get a fmic just yet. Were you able to figure out why your #1 turbo is only boosting .5 bar?

I used a pretty similar kit from CX racing, except I went with 2.75" piping. I had to relocate my overflow tank as well and I just mounted it next to the battery. Just make sure it's out of the way of the serpentine belt or you'll end up with a hole in the side of it like I did.

Here's a pic of where I put the tank. I just used the original 90º mount and attached it to the fan shroud bolt, and also zip tied the top to the battery.

Also, if you're gonna use that black piping, pick up a couple black couplers for at least the top two connections. That would look sick.

nope no problems with the ac lines, but the ps lines might be in the way depending on your size piping.

I used the CX 3'' i/c pipe kit and didnt have to cut where the stock air box was..didnt have to cut anything, and had a 45* and a straight section left over. general rule of thumb is your i/c pipes should be the same size as the compressor outlet on your turbo. I had to slightly move the a/c lines, but nothing major at all, just a minor pull upward and done.

as for the overflow tank, I just made my own using a piece of the i/c pipe and a couple pipe fittings, a bit of welding and done.

there are ways to route the pipes so no cutting is needed, it just takes a bit of thinking, fitting, re-fitting, getting pissed off, fitting again, etc..I wont lie, took me almost 2 full days to get it routed with no cutting, and using a few couplers as possible. I am only using 4 couplers minus the TB and off the compressor..so 6 total isnt bad I guess, but I do plan on welding some of the pipes together later on.

thats why i run a vertical intercooler setup, reduces a ton of piping.
both inlet/outlet are on the same side.
