Most if not all stock 346 LS1s are going to dyno 300 RWHP stock.

Good luck with the swap. It will be nice to see an LSx style engine swap in the Lexus platform.

It really is a wonderful platform to work with and so simple.

Update. After carefull measuring of the engines and placement options. I have concluded that the plan has changed. I have more than enough room to run a tubo. Low boost of course until I get a progerly built motor. But with the room I have it will be so simple. So the build just got cheaper believe that or not. Now Im just going to run all stock parts. Ill change the head gaskets out to try to lower the compression a little bit. And I have a 66mm turbo sitting on a shelf. I know its not the biggest turbo out there but with a basically stock LS1, spool will be fine with 5-6 lbs.

That should make some of you a little more happy about the swap.

Nice! I just sold my LSx swapped RX7... nothing like a V8!! With a stock engine and a turbo with 5-6lbs.. you should see 400-450rwhp.. build the engine up, up the boost, and go for broke!

Are you using the DGR Fabrication aluminum LSx mounts/trans brace/driveshaft that's already available, or are you fabbing everything custom yourself? Sounds good, I'll believes its whens i sees it! Best of luck.

looks like there is plenty of room in front and on the sides. shouldn't have too much trouble boosting it with a few exhaust tweaks.
4-5lbs of boost may be too conservative. maybe consider 8-10 if you do the head gaskets.

it looks like by boosting it will also make it easier to make the exhaust manifold/exhaust much easier to do.

I was going to at least use the motor mounts from DGR. I called them the other day and got no answer. If they have a website I cant find it. If I cant get ahold of them I will just have to fab everything. The transmission crossmember will be the easiest to fab up, so Ill do that on my own anyway. If any body knows the guys at DGR let them know im trying to get ahold of them.
