Default oil filter

what oil filter do i buy for a 1jz gte? Is it the same filter as a regular 2jz ge?

Your should be able to use the 2jz filter with no prob.

So even the purolator 10241 will fit.

yeap even the 1uzfe and 3uzfe use the same filter as the 2jz/1jz

oh ok thankyou all, if all jz are interchangeable then an ac compressor should fit from an is300 on my car then right?

idk about an IS300 compressor, but an SC300 one will bolt up as long as you didn't use the 1JZ compressor and adapted lines.

does ne1 really need higher flow rate out of their oil filter? hate to rain on ur parade w/ the k&n filter, but in my opinion i say take that thing and put it where it belongs, in the trash. go get ur self a wix filter. i know u didnt ask nething about it, but the only place on a motor where u may want to sacrifice a little bit of flow, is with your oil. that and i just think k&n is trash to begin with. me and every1 i know ONLY runs AEM and Wix filters depending on the application.

I just use OEM YZZ-D3 filters. They work just fine.
