Long shot A/C help
I have been searching for a couple of days for the type of problem my Climate control is giving me. The buttons all are backlit, but the screen is blank and none of the buttons work. This happened after my daughter shut her car off to get gas, then restarted it continue her trip. First off, what I have checked:
1. Checked in cig lighter for coin, no coins.
2. Cig fuse in driver kick panel, was good but put a new one in anyway.
3. Checked circuit for cig fuse, showed good.
4. Changed ALL 7.5 thru 20 amp fuses in driver side kick panel. None of the fuses were bad, but wanted to be sure.
5. Checked underhood fuses, no problems found.
6. Checked all connections on the back of the Climate control box. Found no loose wires.
I believe that there is a problem with the wireing from the fuse block to the cig. lighter/CC????
What am I missing?? Thanks for any suggestions. Car is 93 SC300.
