Unhappy Crazy 3000rpm Idle

I have a 92 SC300 5speed with no engine mods with about 140k on the clock, tune up about 5 months ago. Timing belt NGK plugs and wires all that. Even clutch, cap, and rotor button.

Did a lil fast driving on the highway to work and when I got off the highway my SC was stuck at a 3000rpm idle. I cleaned my idle control unit and no change. I purchased a new unit from a dude on craigslist and no change. When I unplug the TPS and MAF the idle drops to abot 2000 to 2500 and gets rough til i plug them back in. No change when Idle unit is unplugged if there is pose to be a change from that. Swapped the ecu out, the tps and the maf with no changes. Someone said it could be the PCV, I dont know need help for my love asap.

I know this may sound dumb, but better to make sure. You sure your throttle body isn't stuck open a little? Also check your IACV?

^^ yeah, I'm wondering if there's something in interfering the throttle linkage.

I checked all that and everything looks as it should. I cleaned the throttle body and maf sensor and the idle is down to 1800rpm. Im running out of ideas.

I would check the throttle body again and make sure; even if it's open slightly more than it should be at idle, it could cause the high idle.

TPS can fail too.

Check this link for reference how to test your TPS.

Have you checked for vaccine leaks ??? When engine is cold you can spray some break cleaner on the hoses and listen for the ideal to rise. Hope this helps.

I swapped the TPS and there was no change, and I did the spray test also but forgot to mention with no change, Honda boys do know a lil something got that form one, lol. But as 3Rotor said im gonna check my throttle body again. I did recall seeing some slight gap (about a hair) but i was thinking it was suppose to be like that cause i was working it with my hands and it wouldnt close 100%. I also pressed on the blade and it didn't try to close that small gap either. If thats the case what would cause that gap. Im gonna pull it off the car today about 6. Its hot in VA.

I will take pictures when its off.

I would double check one more time for vaccum leaks or disconnected hoses

So is this amount of gap required or is this my problem. I put some pressure on the blade with my finger and the gap didn't close. All the screws for the throttle cabble and stuff is in the original position.
