Good Morning.
Brand spanking new member here, and liking what I have seen. Been lurking a bit this weekend and you guys have already helped me with some troubleshooting. Thanks!
I am one of 3 Administrators on DodgeTalk.com, so i appreciate the value of a good forum first hand.
Recently acquired a 95 SC300 "project" with low miles, and a solid drive train, but having sat undriven for 5 years, Im sure i will have thousands of posts and questions.
First order of business is complete fluid changes, plugs, filters, etc and get her to fire up.
After troubleshooting a "No fuel" issue based on the info I learned here, we have determined the fuel pump is shot (12V at the tank detected, FP ECU bypass mod performed).
I dont need a racing fuel pump, but i want a good one. We have drained the tank, cleaned it, etc, and wanted to see what you guys suggested before I order one.
ALSO, while im in here, would you all reccomend replacing the sending unit as well?
What part do you guys recommend for this?
Finally, are there any other "Gotcha's" or Red Flags I might need to know about as i perform the initial maintenance to get this thing running?
Thank you all in advance,
Dane Skirtech
