i think i have the same problem i'm convinced there a cut wire somewhere. Just to be sure we are both talking about the same thing...
1) does the passenger window work on the passenger side switch?
2) does the passenger window work with the driver side switch?

I've got a new switch and that didn't work. I even bought a motor and regulator and still no go.

Its probably a ground wire. Mines did the same exact thing. Only the passenger side went crap. I grounded the passenger side, but now i can only use the driver side to make the window go up, it cannot go down using the driver switch. Works fine though with the passenger switch. Havent been able to figure it out.

I was pretty motivated today.

I just took out the whole harness. In my car there was 3 connectors inside near the kick panel. It took it off and I took the whole thing out and found a broken wire right where the cables would rest on the metal.

I wasted money buying a new switch, regulator/motor cause i listened to pple on here that have no idea what they are talking about.

To those stumped have you tested for power at the fuse and at the switch? Checking the wires on the switch should have at least 1 hot wire

Finally had time to fix it. It was a broken wire within the driver door. Works like how it should now.
