I was curious as to any information people had about Weapon R products, esp. on a Sc400. Also why would the cold air filter only work on a '93 model yr and up and not '92??? Also any comparisons between their ECU and the one found on lexussc400.com. And how valuable a mod is the torque converter? Pretty much any information about modifications to Sc400's in general is welcome here. Thanks.

I don't have Weapon-R's stuff on my car (yet), but here's what I THINK I know:
The intake works on a 92 as well. The website just isn't up to date.
One of the differences between Weapon-R's ECU and lexussc400.com is that the Weapon-R ECU is a piggyback-type where the lexussc400.com is a replacement for your stock ECU. Means you have to send in your OEM ECU to get it reprogrammed.
As to the results of the mods, I'm sure someone who has them on the car can tell ya more. Or do a search. WR's stuff and torque converters have been covered over and over ...

The torque converter is a great mod. Definately improves the off the line jump on our SC400's.
Our ECU upgrade can be done a couple of ways:
1) you send us yours and we can program and ship it same day
2) we can send you our ECU and charge you extra and refund you that money when we receive your ECU in working condition.
