2JZ T67 Swap
**Update Pics up!!**
Hey everyone!
I had a post a while back talking about my dilemma with an SC300 that i picked up with a JDM 2JZ in it. Long story short the motor died and i had to get a new longblock.
Anyways.....1 rebuilt longblock later a lot of freaking work in the middle of my buddy's parking lot and the car finally fired up. I wish i took specific detailed pictures to help others out, however, i needed to get the car done as soon as possible and i did all the work during overnights. I did take a few pictures that i will post very soon.
One problem i did notice though is that there is a nipple sticking out of the head on the front intake side of the motor right under the oil cap. After running the motor for the first time for approx. 10 min this nipple started spitting out coolant. Sooo im assuming its a coolant line, however, i dont no where it goes.
Is there anyone that is familiar with where this line is supposed to go?? or someone that has a diagram of all of the coolant lines that wrap around the motor. Someone please chime in

thanks for the quick reply! i will post pics very soon. all i have are pictures from my hd2
but here is a couple pics i found from supra forums that point right to where i need. Props to "TROLL" for these pics.
The first picture shows a hose connected to the nipple im talking about...... that was spitting coolant and i have noooo clue where it goes.....
and the temperature gauge in the car is going wack too. All it does it slowly go up to "H" even when the car is still cold. swaps are fun.....LoL

i want to say it's the coolant hose that runs to the throttle body to keep it warm. Kind of like that KY that.......Nevermind. Plug it off and you should be ok. make sure you top off your coolant and bleed the system real good.

As for the Temp gauge acting up, I know i saw a few threads on the forum talking about it but they mostly deal with the 1JZ and im not sure if it's the same fix.......

So here is an update temp gauge fix that is on the forums saying to ground the brown/black wire on IK2 plug on ecu fixed it. It works perfectly.
As for the tach i bypassed the R109 resistor and that worked amazingly too. I didnt think the rpm would be accurate but it is dead on!!
Here are some pictures i took with my phone as we were doing the swap hope you enjoy......Please excuse the not so great quality....

Now all thats left is the original nipple i was talking about that is in the head of the motor that is usually connected to the throttle body. I tried plugging it but the pressure blew the plug right off. Does anyone know where the coolant line runs from the throttle body to? I might just run it straight from the head back into the system.

Ok so overheating problem fixed. Now i have an even bigger problem. I was breaking in the motor and the car started to lose power and kind of wanted to turn off. So i immediately pulled it back in and it turned off. The car now will not crank whatsoever. it will not spin. Someone please help!!!!!!
