When you drill the hole in the firewall for the center of the master to poke through, I would use a knockout cutter as opposed to a holesaw. That way you can drill a relatively small pilot hole which is much easier that manhandling a large holesaw. A holesaw will be a pita to maneuver in that tight space.

K Thanks ya I assembled the clutch pedal by hand last night, god that spring sucks lol. I guess my only other question is the master cylinder, when I take the cap off theres this rubber thing floating around in there, do I have to leave that in there?

^ K Thanks.

*Install tonight took longer than expected and was a ***** to do just like everyone says I also put a bolt through the clutch sensor hole for extra security. Definitely different driving auto with 3 pedals, the brakes close to the gas.

I'll post pics if any ones interested, just looks like any other manual setup

No doubt! I love the pedal positions. It makes it very easy to heel toe on the downshifts.

Almost feel like I shoulda saved some $ and went with the stocker. Someone enlighten me but other than being yellow and engraved they look identical, I mean to weight, thickness of metal, and the "straps" that are said to snap under pressure on the stock plate, the Act is identical...

There must be something I don't know in how these are made..

Everything lines up pretty good I did have to grind down the mk4 mount, i used the mk3 carrier for now, clutch i think needs more bleeding had a bunch of play then it engages and releases like 1-2in away from floor making it difficult to enjoy

The shifter is a little too short need to find a slightly taller one. Other than that the weather was horrible last night so I just drove it home and called it a morning Gear ratios seem kinda short

looking great bro. yes the gear ratio will be short swap a 3.92 or 3.26 rear diff and have fun. I had both 3.26 from an sc430 and 3.92 from 92 sc4 but I like the 3.26 better longer gear .

Congrats man. That car is going to be so much more fun now You should just buy the soarer extension and your shifter will be much better positioned.

^ thanks fellas ya itll be a while before I can afford a rear end, want to go with a new turbo/exhaust setup next.

I read on a recent post someone said the 98-00 sc3/4's had a 3.26 read but maybe thats wrong? 430 rear must be pretty hard to find eh.

When its a cold startup like 30 or below I hear like clunking sounds from the bellhousing but then it goes away..? BTW im on a stock disc.
