thanks stick,
the car is mechanically stock, 95 sc400.
i shouldnt be able to adjust the timing cause the 1uz does it automatically isnt?
is running too rich the only thing that can cause this?
how about improper vacuum lines? or clogged/ malfunctioning EGR?

different car this time.
the cat is still factory as well as the o2 sensor, although those rarely go bad for toyota/lexus.
ill also be checking my plugs and wires if any of them is being fouled. gonna do a good tune up.
