Mostly applies to the W58 (most common from research on the forums, other transmissions are welcome)...when you swapped over to the 5spd..
1) how did your gas mileage differ? City/freeway.
2) where are your RPM's at when cruising on the freeway. 70-75mph
3) How was the power difference? From what I read on the forums, the automatic's dyno pretty low due to it's complicated transmission computer.
Just want as much information as possible before I make my decision. Don't want to lose it as my daily driver due to poorer gas mileage/high RPM cruising.
THANKS!

I didn't notice any gas mileage difference, but I wasn't looking for any. 75mph is 3000 RPM on stock tire size. More torque and power are on tap because you can hold a gear as long as you want instead of letting the auto shift its way to 4th as fast as possible...and a lot less less drivetrain loss
