Hi there, welcome.
I can give you at least the firing order...
1 - 8 - 4 - 3 - 6 - 5 - 7 - 2
If the car was running fine before the spark plug change, it's likely not the fuel. But you probably know that already. Was anything else done, like ignition wires? Make sure the cam sensor is still plugged in, too.
Good luck!

verify spark at all the plugs and if thats good then move on to the fuel.
the distributors fire 2 cylinders on each bank (the first and last on its own side, and the middle 2 on the opposite side), so you need to test the right plug wires to make sure both distributors are dealing out spark. if one isn't dealing out spark (could be due to a bad rotor, worn down cap, or a bad coil on that side) the engine will sound like its trying to start but won't be able to (half the cylinders are out).
if its not getting fuel these cars have a very common problem of the fuel pump ecu failing when they get older, and there are a few ways to deal with this if thats the problem. most people bypass it (which is essentially free), and if it works then you can look into replacing it or installing a good ol fashioned relay to delete it properly. most people just leave it bypassed.

thanks for the help, i've narrowed it down to the cam position sensor. my problem now is, is there anyway to remove the cam sensor without removing the cam gear. the right side is getting spark but the left side is dead. i checked the coil and it checked out good.i've checked and replaced the rotor on the left side it was cracked in two places. when i ohm the cam sensor it went to infinity.

The manual says to remove the cam position sensor from distributor housing, remove the bolt, screw and cam position sensor. Remove the two cam position sensors. I've never removed them before, but it doesn't look to hard remove cover, cords, cap, rotor and not sure if you have to remove the distributor.
