Default GE motor with v160

I don't have enough money for motor and tranny and I'm in need of the tranny more so than the engine for now. Is it possible to mate GE motor to v160 to then swap in gte motor later? What would I need?

Simple answer, yes.

Drive shaft, I'm not sure.

You will not necessarily need the rear diff; speed will be wrong depending of gear ratios. No need for output shafts either. Diff and output shafts can come later when you make more power.

Put that in your sig. If everyone did it it would probably help. A little. Maybe...

You can use the rear differential from a 98-00 SC400 with VVTi. It is a 3.26 which will mate perfectly with the V160 tranny. You should only need the custom driveshaft which I believe is the original TT 6 spd front half with an extended SC300 rear part.
