Yes, I got it off eBay. eBay seems to be one of the only places you can easily find a GTE/V160 swap these days. Most importers will only special order clips, which are better, but take 2+ mos and cost way more. Just pay SUPER close attention to the pictures and compare pix with other swap pix to make sure nothing's missing. Mine was missing the shifter assembly (which I should've noticed) and the gear selector rod was broken (which I wouldn't have seen from the pix). Japan Power refunded $400 to me for the gear selector rod, but replacing those parts is going to cost me about $1100. Overall an ok deal still still since I got them to include the diff and shipping ($400) for $5500 ($5100 after refund).

I had other stuff done as well, so I'm not too sure how much it would be for a straight swap. But figure about $1000-1500 to pull out the old motor and install the new one. The price will vary if they have to extend/rebuild your wire harness, fabricate piping, etc or modify your trans tunnel depending on which year SC you're working with. I used an actual Supra motor so everything bolted right in. They're harder to find and more expensive, but you don't have to change a bunch of little things like oil pan and motor mounts, etc. My car was already a manual, so that made things easier than if you're doing a tranny conversion as well.

There's an extra set of twins at the shoppe that I can swap out if it gets worse, but it's a pain to do, so we'll just hold out a little longer and see what happens. So far it actually seems to have subsided...maybe the seals were just dry and needed to re-seat themselves. That may be a stupid theory though lol
