Default Need Help, 95 SC400

I recently picked up my 2nd SC400 yesterday. The guy I bought it from told me that he has to hot wire the starter relay to the battery to get it to crank. I figured this was something having to do with the Aftermarket Viper alarm, but no go. I removed the Viper today and its components and still a no go. When you put the key in, and turn it to crank it, it does absolutely nothing. I do notice the LCD on climate control goes blank for a second. Ten comes back on when releasing the key. I dont hear any clicking. Everything inside the car turns and lights up as normal. It also has new battery and terminals.

If you touch the hot wire from the relay to the positive side of the battery it starts up right then, no hesitation. I find this very odd. He also stated he replaced the neutral safety switch, and still did not work. I have tried cranking it in neutral and in park and nothing. I am going to try and replace the starter realy tomorrow out of my 1992 and see what happens. I have searched and cant find anything on this similar problems, just starter itself issues. Please help! I want to let my son drive the car soon, and want this fixed. I am willing to try anything.

I dont think think its the ECU, fuel pump, fuel filter, due to it cranking up immediately with the hot wire. Any thoughts?

I would also like to add the climate control is blackened out and the fan control doesnt work properly. I am thinking this is electrical related som ehow, but does light up and changes functions, but you cant hear it actually doing it.

Did you use a volt meter to check for power to starter.. Im willing to bet thats the problem... since your stating when you hook up a hot wire it fires up....

It should get at least 12 volts.
