dude relax you sound like a douche i was asking a normal question? I'm very aware of what a ls engine can do especially with an iron block. Used 2jz with harness could be had for less then 2k, couple odds and ends like pump/safc/clutch etc and youre at 350rwhp on stock JDM twins, upgrade to USDM twins and injectors youre at 450. What i'm saying is with 2j you dont have to buy mounts/cross member, on 2j ac will work, p/s will work nothing needs to be custom,like headers fuel feed and return to fuel rail....etc. I think 2j and ls are both very capable motors its just way more work required to make the ls work in our cars.

Oh I'm plenty relaxed lol its just the internet. Just meant if you havnt done it or done a good amount of research how can you just claim one way or the other? I have had both in my SC400 which does require more things for a JZ for a/c, wiring, etc etc. I can go to numerous junk yards in Houston and get a 6.0 longblock, auto trans, harness and ecu for 600-800 which counters anything else needed pretty much. Budget swaps can be done either way it would be a landslide one way or the other I don't think

Driveshaft(not for 2j)
Driveshaft flandge(not for 2j)
P/S lines(not for 2j)
P/s res(for 2jz too)
A/c Lines to be mated to Ls
headers(downpipe for 2j is much cheaper)
Motor mounts (not for 2j)
Cross member(not for 2j)
Fuel lines modified to work with aftermarket fuel rails on ls engine(not for 2j)
Throttle Cable(both cars need one)
Plus you need all the accesories for ls, p/s, a/c etc junk yards usually dont sell those with engines.
HP tuners to tune the car and get the Gauges to work(safc is much cheaper and no need for a laptop)
IF you doing the work yourself 2j is cheaper and less time consuming end of story.

As far as i'm concered wiring is all it need for the ac to work.

a pic of the start of the exhaust that im fabbing. Im using corvette C6 manifolds. the manifold outlet is 2.5", so im starting with that and flaring it to 3" to an x-pipe to topspeed mufflers
