HY!

Today, i recieved the 35mm nut, but the was 5mm too short but we have "extended"

The flange to change is easy, but easer to do this on the car with closed rear brake to open the crew connection.

I fitted with the impact driver, first on stage 1 carfully and fixed complete with stage 4. Not more as 1-2mm more tighten up. its ok, not stronger to turn.

extended nut

flange SC vs Supra

pinion rearside

ready to install

My friend change also for his SC300 M/T the flange to the supra LSD, open with 120-130 Nm and fixed also with 120Nm. was easy to do on his diffs.

greets

Tom

I need to do this as well. So you said the 35mm is the wrong size for the companion nut? Anyone know the correct deep socket size?

Also has anyone tried removing the flex couplings and just adding a spacer or bolting the flanges together..metal to metal instead of this weak rubber crap

35mm deep is the correct size, IIRC the service manual calls for a 36mm. 35 is definitely the correct size, I just went and looked at the socket I used.
