Fuel Pump Relay with aftermarket setup
Hey guys I'm having some issues with my 2jz-gte swapped soarer and I found a relay not connected in my trunk. But I'm not sure how to reconnect it again, since I suck at wiring, I've drawn up a pic to show my issue:
Here's the relay with the 12 volt constant not connected to relay:
Which goes through the relay then the red wire follows to the fuel pump splices:
So what I'm seeing is the 12 volt constant comes from the battery into the relay then continues to the fuel pump but is spliced into this unknown clip as seen in the pic. What is that clip? Also there is another power wire from the relay that is spliced into that clip as well.. doesn't make sense.. can anyone help me make sense of this?

On the clip, the blue is the 12 v that powers the fuel pump the white is ground. This is how is on my car the blue wire goes to 85, 86 goes to ground, from the battery 12v constant install a fuse 20 amp depending of you r fuel pump and connect it to 30, out 87 to the fuel pump, so that way every time you turn the key it will turn the fuel pump and turn if off with the key. I see if I can get pic.

just yesterday I changed a similar setup on my car... to make things easier splice the fuel pump power wire you are using to the "main efi relay" in fuse box in engine bay then the fuel pump operates like normal. No further need for extra relay etc etc. I had it kind of wire up like you did because the factory wire went to crap but use about a 12-14 gauge from the main efi relay straight to the pump and you'll get the same voltage your car is charging at which is higher than 12 and gives the pump (walbro) extra juice.
