Man i just got some horrible news....
i went to get my a/c checked out today and they stated that my expansion valve is messed up and they have to take the dash out to replace and fix it and it is a 7 to 8 hr job price wold run me around $850 to 1400...SMH he also stated when he went to try an put the freon in it instantly came out? is there another possibility for this problem and is there a possibility that he's wrong and its something simpler?

Not sure how to solve our issue ^, but pulling the dash is pretty simple, just gotta be careful, getting to the parts is not that hard. Expansion valve at a parts store is around 60 - 100 $ so you should be able to save money and do the work yourself
