i need to know what the wires on the round plug on the alternator do so that i can have it charge my battery in my 240sx. Just got the motor running in the car yesterday and need the charging system to work now

 

It's a round plug not oval. I can find several info for the oval plug but not the round one.

 

I don't remember off the top of my head, but the round plug is the same for the MKIII supra with the 7M.

 

bumping an old thread ro see if anyone every figured this out..... im wiring a 93 harness to my 95 engine after the accident and im trying to ditch this round plug with 3 wires...not trying to run the 93 80 amp alternator...
