More starter problems
#17
Another update: Car started when I ran a wire to the starter plug, and touched it to the + terminal, so the starter works fine. I'm thinking it has something to do with wiring, or a bad ignition terminal. Or if anyone has any other ideas, let's hear them!
Thanks for all the help so far everyone!

Have you tried jumpering pins 3 and 5 on the starter relay to bypass it? Did you check the ignition/starter fuse in the kick panel?
If you are not hearing a click from the starter at all, it sounds like a circuit problem.

Which fuse is the ignition fuse? I'm using this diagram and not seeing it on there. http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/me...82/100636.html
And I haven't tried jumping the pins. Where is the starter relay? In the main fuse box?

you could even check the relay first, there should be continuity between pins 1 and 2, and no continuity between 3 and 5. If you apply battery voltage across 1 and 2, you should hear a click and get continuity between 3 and 5
