Default welded oil return







my welder came threw for me and got it welded up today looks great he did jam up job , if people have been having leaking issues i decided i dont want that headache .welded for peice of mind .and it was off and out so might as well do it right now and do it right the first time. i wont beable work on till next week gotta go ga to my hunting lease clean it up. before hunting season starts .. but after next week i should get some time do oil pan swap . i still have get my timing belt ordered so that will be next then clutch and tranny . then bolt all the turbo stuff up drop it in,,,,,,

car is still sitting .. i need get started again on it i need get my motor stand back so i can get motor off ground .to finsh .looking into replacing head gasket . i need see how much boost stock gasket will hold , i know i found it once but cant remember now its been a while .since i been able do any thing . with the car or any lifting or working on it . i hurt my back and do not have any one to help me .. if any one is interested in giving me a hand . im open for some help ,as i really want to get this up and running but i cant crawl around and lift whole lot now...plan on real soon getting started again.

I have heard stock Head gaskets are good for 30+psi. HOWEVER I may be wrong. I believe the head bolts are the weak point. Everyone usually switches those out for the ARP L19's. Question: Are you sure that Getrag is going to fit in the stock tunnel? another forum member replaced his tunnel when he did the getrag swap in his sc300.

Yea it will fit been done a bunch.. it is just neater with the supra tunnel.. but yea it can be done . And i might change my tunnel sobthe shifter doesnt hit in any gear .also.

long way from being complete .i still need to get a torsen for rear end and get my drive shaft waiting on my new oil pump. so i can change it and replace front and rear seals .then replace the water pump thermoastat. timing belt change fly wheel and clutch .bolt v160 to it and put wiring harness on and drop it in the car soo long ways from completing .. and im thinking about while i have it apart changing the cams out , havent decided yet. if any one has pics of the clutch set up for the v160 or knows a thread to point me to ,,, so i can figure that out . i know its not same as regular clutch set up.
