Taking the GE out, and cleaning up the engine bay. Took a few cans of degreaser to the engine bay, and the W58 trans.

Before pressure washing

After a good cleaning

Looking good Doc. I haven't gotten to see one of your harnesses in an SC. I did see the one you did for my buddies 1JZ'd MKIII. Quality stuff.

We used the original GE rear sump oil pan, and modified it so the factory oil return would fit.

resurfaced OE flywheel and Competition Clutch

New bearing that came with the clutch kit

All ready to be dropped in!

We never opened the A/C system. This is the original GE A/C compressor.

All bolted in!

You should always upgrade to 97-02 mkiv supra engine mounts.

Both motor mounts and the transmission mount are brand new OEM Lexus mounts....and you might want to check the year range in your last post....just sayin.

I know.

The supra mounts (on the right) is of far superior construction to the sc300 mount
direct swap
2/3rds the cost @ wholesale pricing. 67.52 supra mount v 105.63 sc300 mount

.... and when you do use lexus mounts you are supposed to reuse the heat shield since it's not built in like the supra mounts.

What kind of hose is that you used for the drains? It almost looks like heater hose which is not a good idea... I would also run Supra mounts just for the strength they offer over the rubber Lexus mounts, but I would bet those Lexus mounts will greatly reduce NVH.

That's looks like vibrant reinforced silicone hoses, it's made for temps up to 350. Should be good.
