Default A. C. delete

I did a search for this but found nothing. Im deleting the A.C from my 93 SC4. It was not working and Im removing it as I have other cars with AC for hot weather. I am trying to go light weight and will post weight of the system tommorow

I dont get what your asking..removing the a/c system isnt hard, just time consuming if your taking everything from under the dash out too. Everything under the hood is fairly simple with basic hand tools (10mm and 12mm sockets, and wrenches should be all you need). The parts under the hood weigh about 35#'s, so its not much, but does open up airflow for the radiator.

Hardest part other than the inside, is removing the 2-10mm bolts that hold the a/c lines in place on the firewall. If your ABS pump is still in place, be sure you have a 1/4 drive socket, with a swivel, 1 extension and a 1/4 drive 10mm socket...and a set of small hands would be very helpful aswell. I was just saying that since I finally found the right length serp. belt to bypass Im pulling it. Frees up a lot of room to work on exhaust, steering rack bushings, and oil filter.
