I'd imagine it's possible with a few thousand pound plates sitting in the trunk shifting f/r balance to the rear end. Oh course you'd have to compensate with more power.

Well,
I am doing the intake right now and just ordered a Tilton oil pump. This project should be finish in about two months or less.
The purpose of this project is because i want a twin turbo Lexus. I am making it for myself. If the owners of 1UZFE are interested, we can do a group order. It is much easier to make 20 kits than making it one at a time.
Once everything runs properly, this kit will cost 2/3 less than MechTec TT kit. Currently, i spend a lot of money for R&D.
Anyway, wish me luck.

and the 1uz will not easily make more power than the 2jz...
there's a reason that the fastest import runs 6.8s with a 2jz
I also doubt that there will be too many RWD vehicles pulling 8.5s on street tires... if Titan Motorsport's Supra could get the grip; it could EASILY do it... hell last i saw it ran like 9.008 at 172mph... i remember the mph clearly...
then again you won't see many AWD cars running 7s on slicks either AWD pretty much reaches the end of its usefulness when you get to that point

Hey since you guys seem to know a bit on this subject i thought i would ask a question. I was just talkin with a friend of mine in AUS and he was talling me about a couple of Soarer 4.0L running "Sandwich plates" and 2 metal head gaskets on each side giving htem like 8.5:1 compression and twin turbos. He said that they were making 800-1000hp+ on stock shortblocks. Is this possible?
