I didn't try and find the ecu, I don't think the 95 5spd would have had it but I sold that car so I can't really check or anything now.
If you have a connector hanging off your harness then plug it in, otherwise just ignore it seems to be the consensus.
Ali, thanks for getting back.

I recently rebuilt the engine in this car. When I went to put it back in I could not find a mating connector for this connector on the steering gear. I took hundreds of pictures before I tore it down so I would not have this problem. This is the one connector I did not get a picture of. Very frustrating.

I guess it is just not there. I looked inside the connector and it looks dirty so I am guessing there is not an associated connector on the harness.

This is a 95 5spd.

Based on the condition of the inside of the connector, I would say nothing was connected to it in the past. Lots of sand and debris in there.

Hey Bruce, mine was the exact same.. 95 5spd car and I didn't realize the issue until the motor was back in and trying to reconnect everything.
Mine also had the same crud in there from years of being open, so don't worry about it that is how they come on some of the models.
Also by now alot of the SCs probably don't have the original rack anymore, so hard to pin point which cars they originally came on, etc..
If your harness has no plug for it, just leave it open or tape it up if you like.
