I use a OTC drain tester $150.00, that preloads the backup memories in the stereo and computer, then measures the amount of drain that comes from the rest of the wiring system. I have a starter and alt. rebuilding business and thats why I have one of those testers. I recommend you find a local rebuilder that will check your battery, and alternator on the car as well as for a drain. If you were close to my shop I would do it for free.
