Dang, I just pick up a w58 from a 92 sc3. , oh well, I can't really compliant as I got it on a trade.

This whole thread isn't necessary... cutting a shifted is not a substitute for a short throw. my point was its as silly as a welded diff, and cut springs.

Dude have you even tried the 2 ? have you drove with cut shifter? Its not the same!!!!!!!!! It might not be a substitute for a short shifter but it feels better than the factory. And its not the same as cut springs , do you even think ? Welded differential is the worst thing you can do to your car for DD, the cut springs are dangerous , how is cutting a shifter gets on the same level ?

Because it belongs in the same river crap category...its also sad how many replies silly crap like this get as opposed to legit tech questions regarding transmissions. why isn't everyone screaming at op to do a search about this garbage like everyone does when someone asks tech questions in a new thread
