Default SC400 2jzgte auto swap to a SC300 questions

I got a SC400 with a JDM 2JZGTE Auto swap in it, had an accident and now I am looking to swap the motor and trans into a SC300. Will there be any major issues swapping them over from the 400 to 300? I have been searching but havent found too much on it.
Any info would greatly help.

Thanks

Think he's more concerned w/ wiring, tach & body harness plug differences or issues
between the 2 chassis.

B this is the correct forum for this post.

I love these types of interesting threads...... I can't give you a concrete answer ,I'm not sure about the guage cluster, your fuel pump perhaps and a few other issues, I would imagine if the harness had already been extended and modified and worked in the SC400 this wouldbe a pretty straight swap.

In my opinion, yes it can be done.

Easiest would probably be to buy a 2jzge sc300 engine harness from the junk yard and install this in place of the 1uzfe engine harness.

No i will tell you what to do ..

it's only (2) or (3) in the kick panel that are different and (1) wire in the engine bay. if you can't do it talk to tweak he will charge you may 150 to fix it for you that's if you don't know how to mess wiring we all know some people are scare of wiring .

the body plugs are identical but not the same! you can just use the SC300 cluster works great.

if you wanna try it on your own first i am sure i will be more than happy to help you get it running .

i have an SC400 that was 2jz-na-t now i swapping another bone stock 2 jz in it (going back to stock) because i sold it to a local member.

it's actually easier to put it in the SC lol.
