Default SC3 oil leak

I 've noticed oil drips on the garage floor, under the engine, it was dripping off the power steering hose at the bottom of the engine. As I was wiping the oil off the oil pan etc., I noticed the oil was coming from the upper front of the engine, like behind the black plastic cover in the front of the engine with the metal Lexus logo on it. From searching I've found it could be cam seals. Does this sound right ? '98 SC3, 142,000 miles, previous owner had all service at Lexus, valve cover gaskets have been replaced.
