Just to clarify.. you are swapping to an R154 as well?

You can use the front half off a Turbo MK3 and rear half off the SC3/400.

I don't think the MK3 NA models have an R154 so it will not work.

MKIII W58 front half paired to a SCx00 rear shaft will work.

You'll have an issue with the carrier bearing, and you'll have to modify the mount to get it fit.

I'd just get a SC3 manual shaft, and call it a day though, however it will work.

Can't give you a definite answer. As far as I know the W58 trans have the same overall length so it SHOULD fit but I don't have any experience with it myself.

Edit:
There ya go!

Not all MKIII driveshafts are the same length. The W58 and A340e shafts are the same. The R154 front half is shorter as the tranny itself is longer. So know which shaft you have.

it will not work you need the R154 MK3 front half .

the r154 front half has more teeth on the spline than the W58 that's why it will not work .
