r-154 chance should i take it?
well guys a buddy of mine is selling a r154 tranny and asked for my w58 and 200 bucks you think this is a legit offer or can i do better ? mind you its a drift project im building and i heard the ratios for the r15 1st n 2nd are not so idel for turbo cars any opinions

Alot of drift guys use the R154 on their cars with no complain, so it should work fine for you depending on what diff you are running.
that R154 is stronger than you W58 so Yes if i were you i would do it, it can take more beating .
SO r154 works fine with the right setup/turbo/ rear diff/ etc ...

Np sir.
But do you know what kind of car the R154 came out of? Because if it's out of an MK3 you will need a JZ Bellhousing and shifter extension to install it in your SC.

i actually have a soarer with the 1jzgte stock and yea it came out of a mk3 i pretty much have eveything stock for now for the new season i plan on moddining everything i have my aem ecu hallmas rx turbo boost buying the new garret t30zr double bb this week were modifying knuckles and and getting a better clutch so im guessing if i am going to add hps a 154 will last longer then the w58
