Since you have USDM everything except the ECU, I would suggest you to get a USDM ECU. That should more than likely solve the issues you are having and also the engine will make full potential power.

Interesting regarding the wire you added. Can you tell me what pin it was on IK2? I am curious. As far as the bucking and stalling, I would remove the SAFC2 and get it running without it and then add it back. 9 times out of 10, the tuning device is the problem. Your car should run fine, if slightly rich with the 550s. Did you put a new O2 in with the swap? I had some idle and driveability issues that ended up being a failing/slow O2 sensor.

+1 where does IK2 come in? The green/red wire jump works but i don't see IK2 as a plug of the starter system. As for the driveablility issue i would ditch the SAFC for the time being and get it running right without the SAFC until later

IK2 has a pin that ties into the starter system, pin 23. That pin is supposed to connect to EB1, so it does make sense that it worked. But I show that wire as black, not green/red.

have not had the chance to do anything on it yet, it starts up fine, idles perfect, air/fuel ratio fully warmed up is at like 13.5, but if i try to rev it at all it bogs down, a/f's go crazy low, and it stalls out.. i checked my safc2 and its hooked up properly, its a brand new unit, i have it on pressure, 6 cyl, throttle up, 01 in and 01 out for the sensor. when i go to sensor check on the safc and to monitor, my throttle % shows 13.5-13.9 at idle with foot of the gas and anytime i touch the gas it goes to 100% right away, not sure why its doing this, i tried to initialize the unit multiple times, maybe my Thottle position sensor is out of adjustment, its a brand new sensor..

Yeah, maybe a TPS adjustment is in order. If you just bought a new sensor and bolted it on, it could very well be off. Good luck with it, and keep us posted

Not sure if I can link to SF but here goes...I would post up a CL link, but I don't think anyone wrote this up here on CL...

Oh, and disregard the second part of his instructions steps 3 and 4 that use the .016 and .019 feeler gauges. That is for the SUB TPS.

Not sure. Is the car warm? My car idles low once it's fully up to temp. Around 550-600rpm. It idles up when cold to around 1200rpm and gradually drops as the car warms up. If the ac is on the car idles around 800-900rpm. I imagine a tps adjustment being off can cause some serious idle issues, so adjust it and go from there.
