I have a stock 1993 SC300 that I have lost two engines with bent rods...First one I found the number two and three cylinders full of fuel and in the the intake runner...Second engine I drove it 78 miles before it died and discovered that this time the number six cylinder and intake runner was full of fuel...What is causing this problem? I'm suspecting an ECU? I did the 12 volt conversion after I lost the first motor.

I am going to use Foreign Auto Computer

They have been repairing ECUs for the DSM crowd for over 10 years. I've seen some for a little cheaper on ebay but these people have built a reputation for quality work. I have never seen a post by anyone dissatisfied with their results.

BigSticks -- pull your ECU, open it up, and look for leaking or corroded capacitors. There are other threads that show pics of what it will look like.

Maybe too much fuel can cause hydro-lock just as if you had too much water accidentally going into your engine. That would be my guess. This is interesting.
