Default Mass Air Flow Sensor Code

I am getting a Mass Air Flow Sensor code when my 1992 SC300 randomly does not idle after driving a mile or so. At that point it will start fine but not idle for 15 minutes or so and then runs fine. It is only doing this about once a week. The car has 89000 miles and the MAF was replaced by previous owner 6 months ago. Should I go ahead and replace it again or is there something else I should check. I have made sure all the conections are tight. I replaced the fuel filter and the plugs and wires were recently changed. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Unplug the Maf while the car starts acting up if it runs better it prolly needs to be replaced most likely the other guy bought a used one if that doesn't work check for vacuum leaks then check iacv
