Default Transmission question

Lets say my transmission in my 93 sc400 died. Is there any other transmission that would be compatible with the car? like a gs transmission? or a sc430 transmission? if so what years?

the sc400 and ls400 share the same motor and trans

That is correct info. I would double check the wiring and plugs between the two.

I have a 1993 SC400 tranny if you need it.... CHEAP!!!

thx guys! im assuming the 1994-1997 LS tranny would work. I should probably avoid the first generation LS huhh
