If you can source one, try swapping the map sensor with a known working one, reset the ecu and see if it works. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...o-swap-problem

Code 31 is universally used for MAF or MAP depending on which ECU you use. It does not matter that the sub TPS is gone. Should not effect engine operation. I cant help you with installing the TPS, I have never had mine off. What are the AFRs doing at idle and when you rev it?

yes patch harness is removed, a/f ratio at initial cold idle is around 10-11 once warmed up 13-14, if i give it any gas it drops down to like 9. now i think i may be onto something here, i took off the main TPS which i bought brand new from Curk on SF. the part number on it reads 89452-22090. now looking at the sub TPS on the other side of the TB visually they look identical. i found my broken TPS that i replaced and the pn reads 89452-22080. could you guys verify what your main TPS part number is for me. i think i may have gotten the sub tps and put it on the main one. which would kind of explain the problem im having. since the pins for signal and battery power are totally opposite on them.

My search indicates that the 090 is for a GE and GTE trac blade, and the 080 is the main TPS for a GTE. I think you may be onto something as well IIRC, the sub TPS works backwards or is wired backwards compared to the main. That would explain quite a bit LOL. I'm surprised you were able to go through the adjustment and testing procedure on it without issues.
