Default AC Compressor Front Seal

I have a '94 SC400 w/ 206K miles. The AC compressor is starting to leak through the front seal. Is replacing the front seal a possibility or is a new compressor the way to go?

I found out the front seal is ceramic and not replaceable unless you have specialized equipment.

Lexus wants $2100 to replace the compressor, clutch, and drier (that's not a typo).

I ordered a new compressor w/ clutch and a drier off amazon for ~$360. It looks pretty easy and straight forward according to the shop manual.

If anyone has any helpful tips or experience replacing the compressor and drier, please let me know.

I just had my friend help me replace my compressor for my SC300 a few days ago...If I remember you have to loosen the tensioner to get the belt off, disconnect neg battery, unplug everything, there are 3xbolts(i think)holding the compressor. We had to put the car on a lift and loosen up the driver side sway bar bracket to get it out from the bottom. When installing it be careful and keep it upright or you will have oil from it poring out.BTW it could be a little different on a SC400??Don't know someone might chime in on this.
