Now, you may have 20k+ invested to do it, but I bet you could crack 350whp And it would sound sick as all Hell doing it.
x2.. Do ettt!! lol

I don't see how it could possibly even touch 350rwhp.

There are VQ's (farrrr better heads than these motors) with 4.15 strokers AND cams AND ITB's with compression bump spinning past 8000rpm barely breaking into the low 320s. Some race shops have race motors barely breaking the 330's.

NA is a moneypit. Just keep on shoveling and hope you end up happy in the end. I personally prefer NA especially for track cars but boost is downright cheap dollar for dollar.

I think it may be possible with bore, stroke, radical enough cams, compression and head work, but I don't think anyone will try to prove/disprove the theory. I wish someone would, though.

AFAIK, that supra only has ITBs and bolt-ons. It does not have head work, cams, compression bump or anything else to actually support the ITB setup.

Dustinleeh, you really need to start searching the forums. Everything you asked has been answered literally hundreds of times. Just go look for it and you will find the info. Start with the stickies.

Supposedly its apart right now for some work. He's trying to get it to rev out to 8500-9000, I imagine a pretty serious valvetrain upgrade is on the way. E85 and more timing down the road apparently. Eitherway, it shouldnt be hard to break 300whp with a N/A 2J... its just far more expensive than its worth.

An NA project like that would be FUN! Maybe once I get my shop started I'll do one for the heck of it. It's going to take some pretty expensive pistons and all of the internal components sent out for cryogenic treatment, for a start. Probably bored and stroked to about 3.5L, pretty radical but that lower end should be able to handle it. Intakes and Exhausts would have to all be ported in the head to accommodate the extra air you'd have to suck in at ambient air pressure. Bigger injectors would be needed, too, because you'd need lots of fuel. An intake, obviously. Exhaust is important. The headers would probably have to be shorties to reach the 350-450 HP range and high-capacity.

Seriously, I know it's going to cost tens of thousands of dollars but it would be a fun build and certainly something different than the usual 350ci Small Block builds
