Default How to get Climate working for DIY 1jz wiring.

I am going to make a thread on this fairly un-documented topic, but as of right now, I have no idea.

What is the name of the plug that the Climate connects to the Blower motor, and where can I get one?

Do I need to wire all the weird A/C stuff into it, or can I just get it to power up and blow?

Let's see!

Ah, I see.

I'm going to do this for No A/C, just the bare bones.

I am sure you can just wire a toggle on a relay for the fan if that's what you are asking. Of course speed control would be an issue. For my climate to work, all I had to do was solder in a relay to change from 12v to ground. Or the other way around, I don't recall. It is well documented, and not that big a deal. I'll find the thread for you.

After reading that link it has occurred to me that they were using a pre-fab wiring harness.

I have DIY'ed my harness from a JZX90 Chaser, so I don't have the harness that goes to the blower box/ assembly.

Any pinouts on the blower box and Climate control unit co-relation? That is what I really need.

It's been -10 Degrees around here lately, heat would be kinda nice!

I believe the wires from the Heater valve goes to the plug for the blower. Il take pics later today to see if i can help. You happen to have any info i can use to wires a chaser 1jz into a sc? Im doing it for my friend but the harness has been cut where all the body plugs are.

So you went up under your dash and removed the blower motor harness? I am not following you here...I made my harness by combining the SC body plugs with an Aristo engine harness. Are you telling me you didn't keep your SC body plugs or dash harness? Climate and engine wiring are almost totally independent. The exceptions being the ECU controlling the AC compressor based on a signal from the climate, and the water valve vsv being controlled by the climate.

Why did you remove the harness?
