If it wasn't so damn cold out I'd go take pics of my two different R154s and compare them.
BTW, to the original poster, I would advise against getting that transmission. for what it would cost for you to convert it to use, it wouldn't be worth using.
it COULD be an R151 from a V6 Toyota Truck, but I still think they have pull type clutches, not push type.

Just confirmed it through my friend, he pulled off a V6 4-runner, if that helps. And also if it is really an R151, this wouldn't be applicable for a R154 1J/2J bell housing, right? And what are the differences between the two? (shape-wise, gear ratio, bolt-patterns and what not)

Well..i'll post up some more pics, so u can help me find it, thanks
I ´ve owned MK3´s before... so.. I know is not a r154 due the clutch fork being on the right side... the r154 is fatter.. more robust.
I just sold a r154 1jz flywheel combo with stage 3 clutch... I thought to share the pictures of a real R154

Do u happen to have more pics, like different angles?
Do only question left for me is, would it be even worth trying to swap the bell housing to see if it'll fit? I'm still kind off confused....I'm thinking about of purchasing it (1J/2J bell housing) just so to try it out.
The problem is the shifter linkage, and I'm sure the gearing is slightly different, designed for a truck. Just get an R154 from a Supra or Soarer, it'll make your life easier.
