Default supra mkii W58

I have two W58s from the old celica supra mkii sitting in the backyard and I was wondering if they would fit/work in an SC. I know everyones been using mkiii and mkiv and some have said mkiii's were a little more difficult.

They will work but you need a W58-to-JZ bell housing, plus an SC300 shifter extension (or buy one of the fabricated extensions available from 3rd party manufacturers), plus you will need a Marlin Crawler VSS convertor for the speed signal.

Other than that, I have heard that the earlier W58's are not as strong as later W58's but I have no idea if this is true or not.

If you already have a W58 then you can just swap over the stock speed sensor. No need for the Marlin unit.
