The farthest one is an oven, the second a blaster, and the third one is a shaker/cooldown.

Edit..... What color should I paint the block? I'm wanting a nice clean look.

sweet!

i would personally go with regular ol' BLACK. i'm a fan of the OEM look.

looking sweet!

nice choice on the black block paint doing the same with the pan?

this probably goes without saying, but make sure you get that pan 100% clean. i'd hate to see you get some scraped up bearings because a tiny clump of sand made its way into the oil pickup.

I rinsed it out well already, but I didn't blast the inside of the pan since in not painting the inside. I'd hate to get paint chipping off inside my engine.

I've not ordered parts yet, but I'll be getting rings, bearings, valve guides and valve seals, ARP head bolts and a GTE head gasket.

And yeah, that's my old escort engine that Will is working on sitting next to mine. I'll have to show you a pic of the head, it was burnt through where the gasket broke. The head is trash on that engine now.

Found some scoring in the cylinder walls now that I got it all cleaned up. Going to have to bore to .020 over which means new pistons.

I just ordered some CP Pistons (#SC7460) and valve guides

Got the pistons and valve guides in the mail today. Thank you Nero of Titan Motorsports for the pistons and fast shipping. Also thank you to our good friend here on CL, Quicksc4, for my new BC springs and retainers that are in the mail.
