Sc 300 NA-T build, with pics!
Alright, so I have been researching and gathering parts throughout the last year or so, and now it is time to actually begin a majority of my build. I have a 1992 auto Sc300, was green but now black (not done by me). The plan is to swap from auto to manual, as well as boosting (obviously) and Ls400 BBK. So far I have
my turbo,
intercooler,
random piping,
exhaust manifold,
wastegate,
dump tube,
Ls calipers,
W58 tranny with manual front half shaft,
w58 flywheel,
clutch,
pressure plate,
I still need to get
5spd pedal set
Slave cylinder
RMS
Pilot bearing
Clutch bolts
Pressure plate bolts
Carrier bearing (I think)
Oil lines
Misc. hoses, caps, pipes,
BOV
SAFC or standalone ems (probably a piggyback for now)
Among other things
I figured I should start the thread now, as I may forget how I did one thing or another. This build is going to take a while (Im in college), and depending on funds may take longer than expected. Either way, I know that getting this started will be a good way for me to be able to get some input from other CL members that have been down this path!
Enjoy!
nice and clean
TRAC FTF!
Interior needs attention too..
More to come...

Yea, those wheels will definately go away, later. I'm thinking some stock Supra TT rims would be nice!
BREAKING NEWS!!
Some douche-cake ran a red light and wrecked my car , so I am currently out of commission as far as the Sc and a my job. With that said, work onthe Sc is gonna slow waaay down... at least for a while. But before the incident, I did manage to install my FMIC
testing the height
A lil space. drilled about 1/2 inch from the top to the center of the hole, used 4" bolts that were about 3/8 in diameter (roughly the size of the holes on the IC brackets)
Bumper test fit
It actually does rub a bit on the edges of the IC, so I'm going to have to cut a little away. I think the reason it hits a bit was that it was actually in a crash (that the seller didnt tell me of) and the bumper reinforcement was bent, as well as the styrofoam inside the bumper.
You can kind of see the bend here
It looked like it was gonna be a pain to remove but it actually snapped off, and I was able to secure the new, straight one on with 3 out of 6 bolts. Anywho, it's all mounted and good to go! Up next (when I get better): exhaust mani and y-pipe removal, turbo mani install, test fitting and other misc. items to attend to
Please subscribe, even though it may drag just a bit .
