Fake hks?
so i purchased a ssqv from amazon, my old one was stolen...
The only 2 things that set me off, were 1, the c-clip on my real one had a bevel, i know because i installed it backwards the first time. this one does not. 2. the nut length, although i didn't check this on my old one because i didn't mess that up. 3. the inside around where the valve opens is rough, and the paint looks uneven on the bottom, i had the silver one before so i dont know about this one. It does look better than any ebay one. it does have the regstered, the bolt holes in the nose cone and the cone it self are pretty sharp (not rounded) and prob could cut someone if i used some force. (not the star wars kind) If anyone has a black one, could you post a picture of the inside and outside?
Ive read up on it in side and out
Here are pix
my old hks box and new one.
white protective bubble plastic and the HKS register symbol
single fin that is raised, not flat, but long nuts on the bolts
assorted stuff
flat not beveled ring
inside kind of rough, but smooth finish on valve
nose cone
directions
