Oh I almost forgot, about the sucking in hot air from the engine. A heat shield won't hurt right?

It'll hurt your wallet a little since it's useless under there.

Sorry to bump an old thread...

But does anyone know the size of the clamps on the diagram below?
I see they come in 3" and 4" at Autozone, just not sure which these are.

Probably not, but my exhaust sounded better with the Sri than the k&n in the stock airbox
